Julia Bialy is a 22 year old visual artist from Gdynia, Poland. Currently studying her third year BA (Hons) Hair, Make-up & Prosthetics for Performance at the London College of Fashion, UAL and working at the National Theatre and a wig & make-up artist.

 She focuses on developing relationships through collaborations with other enthusiastic practitioners as well as delivering her own projects, exploring the relations between the human mind and body. She is fascinated by shapes, colours and textures within her environment but is also inspired by the mythical world and a wide array of artists - Alexander McQueen, Hieronymus Bosch, Caravaggio, Isamaya Ffrench, Tim Walker, Ari Aster and James Maynard-Keenan.

Bialy explores different identities through a variety of media, incorporating elements from the world of fashion, theatre and film to her fine art and make-up artistry based practice. She has gained her working experience while working for The Valldal Comedy Theatre both as an actress and a make-up artist, on sets for Blasterio Films and London Film School and as an independent paintress that have been taking commissions since 2013.
Her works have won multiple national artistic contests and have been included in the exhibitions celebrating local history and culture such as:
 'My Vision of Modernism in Gdynia' (2014),
 'Fashioning Our History BRENT' (2021)
  "12 Painting Gallery" (2021)

 as well as published in fashion magazines (Feroce Magazine, Mob Journal).
